CINCINNATI, OH — 9/30/26 — Cacciatore Legal LLC is pleased to announce that former federal agency labor & employment Senior Trial Attorney Brandi M. Powell, Esq. has joined the firm as Of Counsel. With two decades of legal experience and over 20 years of dedicated federal service, Powell enhances the firm’s national practice representing federal employees, healthcare providers, and civil servants in high-stakes employment disputes.
Prior to joining Cacciatore Legal, Powell served as a Senior Trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of General Counsel, where she represented VA facilities across a nine-state district. In that role, she handled complex, high-profile agency litigation before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA), and the Disciplinary Appeals Board (DAB) for Title 38 medical personnel.
Now, Powell leverages her deep knowledge of agency operations, internal investigations, and disciplinary procedures to advocate exclusively on behalf of federal workers nationwide. Her practice focuses on defending employees through every stage of personnel disputes—including performance-based actions (PIPs), proposed discipline, whistleblowing reprisal, reasonable accommodations, and career-ending adverse actions.

She is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar.
